Sr Manager Operations Audit
At Club Demonstration services we are looking for an enthusiastic and talented individual who thrives on challenge and change, and who want to make a difference through the delivery of results. The Sr. Manager, Operations Audit will be responsible for managing the field and operational control audits for the CDS division. The Sr. Manager, Operations Audit will coordinate the fieldwork associated with the secret shopper audits as well as testing and/or reviewing the operational controls of the CDS division worldwide. This position currently has a staff of seven and reports to the VP of Finance. This position will also be involved with ad hoc finance and accounting related projects requested by Management.

Daily Scorecards review and Communications to the Operations Executive Team
Review the daily Scorecards of the Field Auditors that have performed the operational audits at individual stores. This may include reviewing the performance of events, proper back office operations and overall safety compliance reviews. Currently there are 700+ stores across the US, Canada, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, Mexico and Australia. After review, the reports are provided to Event, Area, and District Managers as well as the Executive Team of CDS. The work must be completed in a timely manner to communicate audit exceptions to management and obtain management action plans. This position will also Manage inventory of audit assignments to meet or exceed department guidelines for time service and accuracy. This position will require some travel.
Audit of Policy, Procedures & Controls
Assist the Finance team in ensuring effective policy, procedures and internal controls throughout the accounting organization and in maintaining related documents. Communicate exceptions to management and work with them to develop an action plan.
Work with VP of Finance and Executive team on recurring and one-time special projects related to internal controls and or fraud issues. Understand and implement accounting pronouncements and alert management to all current US GAAP and SEC trends in reporting and compliance that apply to the Company.
Supervise and Mentor staff.
- Hires, retains, trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company-wide processes, tools and resources
- May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports
Travel and/or Driving Requirements

The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job
(Required): Bachelor's Degree
Field of Study/Area of Experience: Accounting and/or Finance
3-5 Years of experience in Public Accounting and/or large company equivalent experience
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
· Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills
· Analytical and research Skills
· Knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices, procedures and standards policy and procedure development techniques
· Ability to gather data, to compile information, and prepare reports
· Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment
· Flexible and adaptable, able to change and alter according to changes in projects or business environment
· Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision, in order to meet deadlines
· Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
