    CDS Account Coordinator


    The CDS Sales Team has the opportunity to shape product sampling events that assist vendors to define their brand within Costco nationwide. The Account Coordinator is the liaison between the company, vendors, buyers, corporate and field staff for day-to-day client servicing. This includes client status updates, client requirements and deliverables management, budget performance, and prompt and accurate issue resolution. This role is responsible to deliver measurable results to the client for their brands through effective communication and superior follow-up. You will collaborate with the Sales Manager on best business practices to help build value proposition

    • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis. Including finding complimentary food or non-food items to enhance the client’s demonstration program
    • Strategize with Sales Manager to accomplish weekly business growth goals
    • Responsible to produce ad hoc reports as requested to ensure accurate data, program details, and results
    • Heavy interaction with the corporate office credit department. May assist in the collection of unpaid invoices
    • Involvement in various projects helping to consolidate information and streamline current procedures/processes


    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
    • 1-2 years of experience in consumer product goods industry or working with external clients
    • Exception written and verbal communication skills
    • Adept at collaboration with stakeholders throughout the business
    • Proactively assess customer needs
    • Evolve and streamline process to drive the business
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Expert in Excel and Word)

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

    Job Duty

    • Oversee the development and execution of client marketing campaigns planning, organizing, promoting, and facilitating the workflow process in collaboration with key stakeholders
    • Update events schedule to reflect cancellations, rescheduling, additions or modifications; identify recruitment needs, communication and event information material with the staffing team and Management 
    • Plan, orchestrate logistics of campaign events, confirm staffing for event and serve as main point of contact to field teams
    • Assist in managing field staff, recruitment, training and scheduling, while interfacing with clients.
    • Partner with Account Executive to develop necessary event information materials including manuals, power point presentations, conference calls and webinars and videos to facilitate a high-quality event
    • Assist Management to develop post engagement reporting analytics to reinforce the overall value of services for client distribution 
    • Collaborate and build strong relationships with clients through effective communication and partnership
    • Coordinate all aspects of recruiting, selection and hiring of field staff, including reviewing resumes and/or profiles to determine qualified applicants, interview using scripts to determine appropriateness of the representation of field teams, conduct criminal background checks, update the availability of these associates in software tracking program and tracking and monitoring new hire paperwork
    • Maintain a high standard of communication with brand event Teams 
    • On a monthly rotating basis, administer weekly financial payment process for Brand Ambassadors by closing out the event and submitting a financial report to Finance
    • Performs other duties as required and assigned

    Minimum Qualifications


    The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job
    Education Level: (Required): Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
    (Preferred): Bachelor's Degree Or equivalent experience

    Field of Study/Area of Experience: Degree Program/Major (e.g. Marketing, Business Administration or related field)
    2-4 Years of experience in executing the logistics of events within a fast-paced team environment with strong attention to detail while managing multiple tasks

    Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
